How can I place an order?
You have two options for ordering goods from us: You can log in as a "guest" and place your order. You can place an order by e-mail. Simply contact our customer service of the Unishops, which is exclusively available for the facilities of the RUB, or use our order form.
What data is stored when ordering?
We store your personal data (name, address, e-mail address and the funds center necessary for payment) only until the complete fulfilment of the purchase contract, i. e. until the dispatch of your ordered goods. The accounting data required for accounting purposes is then processed in the Ruhr-Universität's accounting system in accordance with commercial and tax regulations. We do not use your data for any other purpose than this order. Once the order process is complete, your data will be deleted from the ordering system after the legally prescribed storage obligation for order transactions.
Can I change or cancel an existing order?
If you have placed your order via the online shop, please contact the customer service team of our logistics partner, the shipping company, directly.
If you have placed your order by e-mail, please contact our Unishops customer service, which is exclusively available for the RUB facilities.
2. Shipping and delivery time
How and at what costs do I receive the goods?
You have the choice of two shipping options:
You can pick up the goods yourself at the Info-Point in the foyer of the RUB administration building. That's free of charge.
You can have the goods sent directly within the RUB to where they are needed. For this we charge a service fee of 2,95€.
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
As a rule, you will receive your goods within 2-4 working days after receipt of your order. If your desired article is not in stock, we will try to reorder it. This process takes some time and the delivery time can be extended by 10 to 14 days. However, we always try to send you your desired article as soon as possible.
How do I know if my order was received in the online shop?
As soon as you have submitted your order online, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail from our logistics partner of the shipping company, who will summarize your purchase.
If you have the goods sent directly to you, you will also receive an e-mail as soon as your order leaves our logistics centre. This e-mail contains the shipment number with which you can track the shipment online at any time via our logistics partner. Please note that the receipt of the goods at the central post office of the RUB is considered to have been closed. From here, the internal in-house mail service takes over delivery to you.
If you would like to pick up the goods at the Infopoint in the administration foyer, you will be informed of the possible pick-up date by e-mail.
How does the payment by entering a funds center work?
If you enter a funds center, the goods are sent from the shipping billing document with a delivery note. You will receive an invoice from us and a transfer posting is made from the funds center to the funds center of the RUB-Unishop.
4. Complaint / return shipment
How can I claim an article?
This depends on the type of your original order
If you have ordered the goods via the online shop, please contact our logistics partner of the shipping company and inform our logistics partner how the defect/defect was caused
If you have ordered the goods by mail or order form, please contact the customer service of Unishops, which is exclusively available for the facilities of RUB, and inform us how the defect/defect was caused
How much time do I have to make use of my right of return?
In principle, you have 14 days after receipt of the goods to try them on and send them back to us in case of non-deliberate to us or exchange them into another size. We want you to be satisfied with your choice and feel comfortable with it. If you are unsure about the colors, size or fit, we will be happy to hear from you and will try to help you as best we can.
How can I return my goods if they do not meet my requirements and arrange for a reversal posting to my funds center?
Please note that if you do not like the goods, you can only return them to your funds center in an unencumbered condition within the statutory return period and reimburse the amount paid. Unfortunately, it is not possible to withdraw the amount in cash or to refund fees incurred previously.
There are two options for returning the goods
You can use the return note and sticker received with your order. We will pay the shipping costs for you. In this case please fill in the return note and put it together with the item in its original packaging in a shipping carton.
Stick the return label on the shipping carton. Please make sure that the label with which we sent your order is no longer visible. Return the return shipment to a DHL post office or a DHL Packstation. It is possible to insert a return shipment into a DHL Packstation without prior registration on MeinPaket. de. After successful posting of the return, you can also receive a posting document here. As soon as we receive your return shipment from our logistics partner, you will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail.
You can also return your order from the online shop in the Unishop at the Infopoint/Foyer of the administration building then return your purchase with the help of your delivery note in the Unishop at the Infopoint/Foyer of the administration building
